Elvis Comeback Special

I love these comeback specials! We had a great time at the Jack Singer Concert Hall Dec 17/09 for the Rev. Elvis & Friends Blue Christmas. Thank you to all who came…what a fantastic audience! and the comments and emails received have been so generous and encouraging.  For those wanting to get a feel, you can check out a few YouTubes from the 2008 show. The video of the 2009 show will be available in around March. A highlight for me was “If I Can Dream.”  The white suit custom made by my friend & world class tailor, Giovani was amazing! and the horn section…the whole band was second to none. Many thanks to all the performers, including Gene  Watson, Lisa Brokop, Amos Garrett, Tony Rino, The Travelling Mabels and my fantastic music director Dwain Sands. As mentioned during the show, it was an amazing time when Elvis came back in 1968, after he was conscripted during the height of his career into a non- war situation ??! Maybe the establishment wasn’t ready for him… but he came back…thought he was a goner, but this cat also came back!…
